The concept of FAMILY,
Never understood it,
Never got it.
I see it here,
I guess I found it,
Fight in front of me
How blind could I be?
Searching beyond
My front door
When everything
I've ever yearned for
Has been here all along.
A daughter to give too
To teach and love
Whose laughter is so sweet
It reaches the moon.
A dedicated ethical wife,
Covering my front and back
Loving my spirit
Even the traits I lack.
Handling my illness and mood swings
With tact.
The concept of a FAMILY
The love
Always sought
Right here
Right now
Within my reach
Everything I ever wanted
MY FAMILY.
